About NAFA
Heritage, rigour and a studio culture
Established in 1938, NAFA has been at the forefront of arts education in Singapore for more than eight decades — known for its heritage, its rigorous curriculum and its practice-first approach.
NAFA is now part of the University of the Arts Singapore (UAS), government-supported, with degree programmes delivered in partnership with University of the Arts London (UAL), Royal College of Music, London, Central Conservatory of Music, Beijing.
Full-time diploma and degree programmes run across three faculties — Art & Design, Performing Arts, and Interdisciplinary Practices — designed and taught by experienced educators and industry practitioners.

Making it affordable
The Singapore Tuition Grant
International students at NAFA can apply for the Ministry of Education Tuition Grant, which substantially lowers tuition fees in exchange for a three-year commitment to work for a Singapore-registered company after graduation. ANSA explains exactly what you will pay, the bond conditions, and the scholarships you may also be eligible for — before you commit.
Please note: the Singapore Tuition Grant is available only for Diploma programmes at NAFA and does not apply to Bachelor's or Master's degrees.
